LAPP Tannehill needed to bridge a critical gap between their B2B Adobe Commerce store and their ERP system, Epicor Prelude. Without this integration, order management, pricing visibility, and customer-specific experiences were limited. Manual workflows hindered both internal efficiency and customer convenience.

  • Integrate Adobe Commerce with Prelude ERP using the DCKAP integrator.
  • Enable synchronization of customer and company data from Prelude.
  • Implement customer-specific pricing visibility through Aheadworks B2B module.
  • Allow customers to request quotes and place orders directly on the website.
  • Ensure new orders from Adobe Commerce are pushed into Prelude for invoicing and fulfillment.

Solutions:

We built all the API calls using DCKAP to enable the seamless flow of information between Adobe Commerce and Prelude ERP. We integrated Adobe Commerce with Epicor Prelude ERP, a distribution-focused ERP system that enables real-time inventory, order management, and operational visibility across business processes. This integration brought LAPP Tannehill’s B2B eCommerce store to life by enabling the required functionality – automatically generating hundreds of company accounts and allowing customers to view their specific pricing, request quotes, and place orders directly on the site

Our team managed data mapping, information integration, data flow architecture, customizations, quality assurance, and project management. We developed and tested the solution over a 10-month period, overcoming several API integration challenges through close collaboration with the client and the DCKAP connector team. We customized Adobe Commerce by strictly following coding guidelines and best practices to ensure long-term maintainability and minimize technical debt.
