As GWS continued to scale globally, the business recognized the need for a more robust eCommerce foundation that could work seamlessly alongside their existing product data ecosystem and support multilingual, multi-market growth.
Challenges
As GWS expanded globally, managing and distributing product data consistently across markets became increasingly complex.
Key challenges included:
- Connected but evolving systems: Product and category data was already well-structured and actively managed in Sales Layer, but required a reliable and scalable way to flow into Magento without disrupting existing data processes.
- Complex data structures: GWS managed a large volume of attributes, product details, files, images, and data dependencies that needed precise handling.

Client Requirements

- Accurate field mapping to ensure every attribute, category, product detail, file, and image synced correctly from Sales Layer into Magento.
