Events and Partnerships Coordinator

The role of Partnership and Events Coordinator involves acting as a liaison between eWay’s + Wagento and its channel partners to build, maintain, and manage long-term relationships with current and prospective partners. The position plays a vital role in revenue growth, serving as the primary representation and interaction for the company at both in-person and virtual events, and requires a professional and energetic attitude.


  • Manage and maintain a good image of the company and relationships with current and prospective partners in both LATAM and North America.
  • Manage and organize the pipeline of deals and leads for Strategic and Technology Partners.
  • Conduct professional communication with notable brands such as Adobe, PayPal, BigCommerce, Shopify, etc.
  • Assess and implement partner collaborations and co-marketing initiatives to support lead generation and revenue goals.
  • Conduct a cost-benefit analysis to determine the ROI of events to be scheduled.
  • Work closely with Sales and valued ERP partners to manage the channel pipeline and go-to-market activities that attract new clients to Wagento.
  • Represent Wagento at partner events and conferences to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential merchant prospects through your partner portfolio to achieve lead generation and revenue targets.
  • Utilize marketing automation and CRM tools such as HubSpot and Active Campaign.
  • Manage partner leads and data through Crossbeam.
  • Organize and execute global events, research venues, suppliers, and contractors, then negotiate prices and hire.
  • Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during event planning.
  • Create reliable financial reports and send contracts to sponsors.
  • Adhere to event budgets to avoid project overruns.
  • Manage events and address potential problems that may arise.
  • Coordinate and organize travel arrangements for events.
  • Develop marketing strategies to increase partner revenue.
  • Update event websites as necessary.
  • Define, lead, and track KPI metrics.
  • Attend marketing conferences and events hosted by Adobe and other partners to gain knowledge.
  • Plan and execute webinars.
  • Build and supervise event teams from Wagento’s existing employee pool.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in creating and coordinating events hosted by Wagento.
  • Native English speker.
  • Ability to develop and maintain an events calendar, including task lists.
  • Experience in customer service management with active listening skills.
  • Background in project management, marketing, or public relations.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot to plan landing pages.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work with internal and external team members and partners.
  • In-person and virtual interaction with sponsors/speakers.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, communication, marketing, or related areas.
  • Social media marketing (SMM) skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning and partner management.
  • Spanish.
