Partnership and Events Coordinator 

The Partnership & Events Manager acts as a liaison between Wagento and its channel partners and is responsible for building, maintaining, and managing long-term relationships with current and prospective partners. Partner account managers play a vital role in revenue growth. The position is the primary representation and interaction for the company at in-person and virtual events and will require a professional energetic attitude. 


  • You will be an important contributor to the Strategic Business Development team and work closely with Sales and our valued ERP partners to handle the channel pipeline and go-to-market activities that bring new clients to Wagento 
  • Evaluate and implement partner collaborations and co-marketing initiatives that support lead generation and revenue goals. 
  • Develop a pipeline of merchant prospects through your partner portfolio to achieve lead generation and revenue targets by utilizing marketing strategies 
  • Manage your pipeline of deals and leads for Strategic and Technology Partners. 
  • Approve and manage incoming and existing partners for both LATAM and North America. 
  • Communicate professionally with large brands such as Adobe, PayPal, BigCommerce, Shopify, etc. 
  • Define, lead, and control KPI metrics  
  • Attend Adobe (Magento and other partners) marketing conferences and events to gain industry knowledge. 
  • Work closely with the Sales and Client Success teams to ensure a smooth sales cycle and experiences for our partners. 
  • Conduct a cost-benefit analysis to determine which events should be scheduled (ROI). 
  • Represent Wagento at partner events and conferences to raise brand awareness and generate leads. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partners and sponsors. 
  • Create and send reliable financial reports and contracts to sponsors. 
  • Plan and execute global events including webinars by coordinating with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders. 
  • Full administration of events including but not limited to research of venues, suppliers, and contractors, negotiation of pricing to meet budgetary objectives, creating event teams, coordinating travel arrangements, and attending to potential conflicts that may arise.
  • Utilize marketing automation and CRM tools such as Hubspot and ActiveCampaign. 
  • Understand how to use Crossbeam to manage partner leads and data. 
  • Update event websites as needed. 


  • Background in project management, marketing, or public relations 
  • Experience with Hubspot (plan landing pages) 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and GoogleDocs 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Ability to create and coordinate events hosted by Wagento 
  • Ability to develop and maintain events calendar, including tasks list  
  • Customer service management experience with great active listening  
  • Capable of working with internal and external team members and partners virtually or in-person 

Desired Skills and Experience  

  • 3+ years experience in event planning and partner management 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, communication, marketing, or related areas 
  • SMM skills 
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) 
  • Basic Magento Administrative experience 
  • Experience managing budgets and expense tracking
