Wagento and its sister brand, B2Commerce, became BigCommerce Elite Partners in June of 2021 for their pivotal role in helping BigCommerce advance its expansion into the LATAM market. With a small team in Colima itself, Wagento already had a foothold in the region, so the partnership allowed for BigCommerce to accelerate its own cross-border plans. Wagento has continued to offer support to BigCommerce through content translation, marketing strategy, event planning, and helping their Partner understand the unique requirements of Mexican merchants.
Just as BigCommerce was excited to encounter momentum in the Mexican market through the partnership, Wagento was also happy to be expanding into different buyer personas with the BigCommerce platform than they had been used to.
